Here are iOS 11.2 beta 1 changes, official release notes and changelog details that you may want to know about.
As you may already know by now, Apple dropped iOS 11.2 beta 1 for developers earlier today. While this release wasn’t all that surprising considering we got a hint about its release late last week, but it coming before the final version of iOS 11.1 certainly was surprising.
So what’s so special or new about this release? Well, to start with, there doesn’t appear to be anything new or groundbreaking user interface-wise. If Apple’s official release notes of iOS 11.2 are anything to go by, iOS 11.2 appears to be mainly a bug fix release which includes security patches and under-the-hood improvements to make overall experience better than before.
Considering the fact that even iOS 11.1 betas skipped on Apple Pay Cash feature, it’s likely that iOS 11.2 might finally bring that feature to life in later betas as currently there’s no hint of it in the first beta of iOS 11.2 either.
